The 29th Turkey-Germany Film Festival honors this year two distinguished figures of the film world who, through their cinematic and non-cinematic work, have made outstanding contributions to fostering cultural and artistic understanding between the societies of Germany and Turkey. Over the past decades, both have served as a lighthouse of intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
