In the United Kingdom, he appeared in numerous stage productions and musicals, including My Fair Lady, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Macbeth, Pal Joey, Bel Ami, and The Phantom of the Opera.


His Own Stage: Tiyatro Stüdyosu (Theatre Studio)

In 1990, Bilginer became one of the founding members of Tiyatro Stüdyosu. On this independent stage, he performed leading roles in plays by Harold Pinter (Betrayal), Willy Russell (Blood Brothers), Ben Elton (Gasping), Terry Johnson (Hysteria), and Jean Genet (The Balcony).


His Own Stage: Oyun Atölyesi (Play Workshop)

In 1999, together with Zuhal Olcay, he founded Oyun Atölyesi, where he continues to perform to this day. His roles there have included works by Steven Berkoff (Kvetch, 1999), Anthony Horowitz (Mind Game, 2002), Tom Kempinski (Separation, 2000), Molière (The Miser, 2004), Stefan Tsanev (The Other Death of Joan of Arc, 2005), William Shakespeare (Timon of Athens, 2006), Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt (Petits crimes conjugaux, 2007), William Shakespeare (7 – Shakespeare Musical, 2009), Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt (The Night at Valognes, 2011), William Shakespeare (Antony and Cleopatra, 2012), Jez Butterworth (The River, 2013), David Hare (Skylight, 2015), Grigory Gorin (Forget Herostratus!, 2021), and Eugène Ionesco (The Bald Soprano, 2023).

He opened the 2025 autumn season at Oyun Atölyesi with Florian Zeller’s play The Father.
